Last date for filing of tax returns for corporate assessees and also their tax audit reports Wednesday Sep 30,2015

The Income-Tax Department on Monday Sep 28,2015 said that the Government has not extended the last date for filing of returns and audit report due by September 30,2015

The last date for filing of tax returns for corporate assessees and also their tax audit reports continue to be September 30, the income tax department has said. 

''The circulation of Fake order dated 26.9.2015 for extension of due date for filing of Audit report and return of Income for Assessment Year 2015-16 is fraudulent. The Government has not extended the due date for filing of returns and audit report due by 30th September 2015," the release added.
