Ananya was successful at beating other two finalists Nahid Afrin(Assam) and Nithyashree Venkataramanan(Tamil Nadu) to bag the coveted title
The show kicked off in May 2015 with 13 contestants that were selected from different parts of India. Every week, depending on their performances contestants got eliminated and finally only three were selected on the basis of the votes they garnered for the much-awaited grand finale of the show
Besides impressive performances from the contestants of the show, the grand finale also featured a special act by Sonakshi Sinha and witty jokes by Kapil Sharma. While she performed to a medley of her popular number, Vishal Dadlani too broke into a gig on his recent number ‘Haftey Mei Chaar’ from Abhishek Bachchan-Asin starrer ‘All Is Well’.
