Special One-day session of Delhi Assembly to discuss women’s security today Monday August 03,2015

AAP chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has convened a special one-day session of  Delhi Legislative Assembly to discuss women's security in New Delhi

The  AAP Government is likely to pass a resolution to set up a commission of inquiry to look into complaints of crime against women and cases in which appropriate action has not been taken.

Claiming that the recent case of the stalking, murder and sexual harassment of 19-year-old Meenakshi in central Delhi’s Anand Parbat area was a glaring example of the failure of the system, AAP MLAs are likely to criticise the  Delhi Police during the day-long session.

The MLAs are also likely to discuss 185th report of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs, which has severely criticised the Delhi Police.
