M S M Anandan Sworn in as Minister of Forest Sunday Aug 09,2015

 

Former Minister MSM Anandan, who was re-inducted into the Tamil Nadu Cabinet, was today Sunday Aug 09,2015 sworn in as the Forest Minister.

AIADMKGeneral Secretary and Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, Assembly Speaker P Dhanapal and other cabinet ministers, were present when Anandan, who represents Tirupur North Assembly constituency, was formally inducted as Forest Minister at the Raj Bhavan

Governor K Rosaiah  administered the oath of office and secrecy to him

M S M Anandan was left out of the Jayalalithaa-led cabinet that was sworn in on May 23, 2015 post her acquittal in a wealth case 

Hghways Minister 'Edappadi' K Palaniswami was earlier holding additional charge of the portfolio of Forest. 

This is the second change made in the AIADMK cabinet after J Jayalalithaa was sworn-in as Chief Minister.
Transport Minister V Senthil Balaji was dropped from the cabinet on July 27,2015 and his portfolio given to Industry Minister P Thangamani as additional charge.
