Immagine, a Kerala-based non profit organisation, is seeking to weave that vivacious variety in a hand-picked collection of images that showcase the wonder that is India.
In its second edition, the India Weaved in Frames photography contest is now inviting entries from the world over for images that represent each of the Indian states and the Union Territories.
The 29 images below are the award-winning entries representing every state of India from the 2014 India Weaved in Frames contest (Telangana, India's newest state, wasn't there in the inaugural contest)
