2015 IAAF World Championships Beijing,China - Germany's Chrisitna Schwanitz Wins Gold Medal in Women's Shotput Saturday August 22,2015

 

In the finals, home favorite Gong Lijiao(China) assumed the early lead with a 20.30 first put.

On the third throw, Chrisitna Schwanitz(Germany) made 20.37 to take the lead.

Gong Lijiao(China)had no answer and the rest of the field was too far behind, led by Michelle Carter( USA)'s 19.76.
