2015 Canadian Open(Sponsored as the Rogers Cup)August 08-16,2015

The Canadian Open (also known as the Canada Masters), currently sponsored as the Rogers Cup presented by National BAnk is an Annual Tennis Tournament held in Canada and being played on Hard Courts

The events alternate from year to year between the cities of  Montreal and Toronto
In odd-numbered years, the men's tournament is held in Montreal, while the women's tournament is held in Toronto, and vice versa in even-numbered years

The Men's tournament began in 1881, while the women's competition was first held in 1892

The Men's competition is a Masters 1000 Event on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tour.

The Women's competition is a Premier 5 Tournament on the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) tour.

Ivan Lendl  has been the tournament's most successful singles player, reaching the final nine times and winning the title in 1980, 1981, 1983, 1987, 1988, and 1989.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga(France) defeated Roger Federer(Swiss)7-5,7-6 in the 2014 final

Men's Doubles
Alexander Peya(Austria)And Bruno Soares(Brazil)defeated Ivan Dodig(Croatia)and Marcelo Melo(Brazil)6-4,6-3

Women's Singles 
Agnieszka Radwanska(Poland)defeated Venus Williams(USA)6-4,6-2

Women's Doubles
Italy's Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci defeated Cara Black(Zimbabwe)and Sania Mirza(India)7-6,6-3

2015 Champions

Men's Singles
Andy Murray ended an eight-match losing run against Novak Djokovic, beating the world number one for the first time since 2013 to win the Montreal final. 
 
The Rogers Cup is the British number one's fourth title of the year, his 6-4 4-6 6-3 victory coming in three hours

Men's Doubles
USA's Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan defeated Daniel Nestor(Canada)and Edouard Roger Vasselin(France)7-6,3-6,10-6

Women's Singles
Eighteen-year-old Belinda Bencic of Switzerland capped off her Rogers Cup debut with a 7-6 (5), 6-7 (4), 3-0 victory over No. 2 seed Simona Halep of Romania in Toronto
 
Belinda Bencic began the tournament by eliminating Eugenie Bouchard (2014 Wimbledon finalist) in the first round and Caroline Wozniacki (2009 an 2014 US Open finalist) in the second round.
Bencic then proceeded to eliminate German Sabine Lisicki (2013 Wimbledon finalist) and Ana Ivanovic (2007 French Open and 2008 Australian Open finalist) to reach the semi-finals round.
She stunned world No. 1 and 21-time Grand Slam champion, Serena Williams in the semis before beating Halep (2014 French Open finalist) to clinch in the title
A first win over the Serb since the 2013 Wimbledon final will be a huge boost for Murray before the US Open starts in New York on 31 August

Women's Doubles
Bethanie Mattek Sands(USA)and Lucie Safarova(Czech)defeated Caroline Garcia(France)and Katerina Srebotnik(Slovenia)6-1,6-2
