Bihar's longest four-lane flyover in Patna Opens Tuesday July 21,2015

 
 
Chief minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the state's longest flyover on Bailey Road in Patna. 

The 2.9-km flyover from Jagdeo Path Mor to Sheikhpura Mor has been constructed at a cost of Rs 300 crore.
The 2.7-km road bridge between Sheikhpura near Patna airport and Rupaspur is expected to ease the traffic in the heart of congested Patna.

The flyover would spell instant respite for a population of five to six lakh, which lives in western Patna and faced frequent jams.
The flyover has parking lots for four-wheelers and two-wheelers under it, which is open for use by public on payment of Rs 20 and Rs 5 respectively for every three hours.

Commercial vehicles won't be allowed to ply on the flyover so as to ensure smooth flow of passenger vehicles on it.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday inaugurated the longest four-lane flyover of Bihar here, saying it will provide people much needed relief from traffic congestion.
The 2.7-km road bridge between Sheikhpura near Patna airport and Rupaspur is expected to ease the traffic in the heart of congested Patna.
Bihar's Road Construction Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh lauded the Bihar State Bridge Construction Corp for building the flyover.
The project was built at an estimated cost of Rs.300 crore
