A Turkish Airlines Makes Emergency Landing in Delhi After Bomb Scare Tuesday July 07,2015

 
A Turkish Airlines plane has made an emergency landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi after the pilot reported a "bomb threat".

Following is the statement by the Turkish Airlines on the emergency landing:   

Turkish Airlines Bangkok - Istanbul flight (TK065, A 330 Aircraft, carrying 134 passengers) was diverted to Delhi after a possible bomb threat.

The plane has already landed in Delhi and all of our passengers and cabin crew have been safely evacuated and taken to the terminal building.

Necessary safety checks are currently taking place.

Furthermore, precautions have been taken for towing the aircraft in line with standard safety procedures. This is currently in progress. After completing all necessary safety checks, the plane will continue its journey to Bangkok.

The Turkish Airlines flight from Bangkok which landed in emergency conditions following a bomb scare, departed early today Wednesday July 08,2015 for its destination after being grounded for over 13 hours.
The flight took off at 0316 hrs from the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport
