2015 Zimbabwe Vs India Third ODI @ Harare Tuesday July 14,2015

After taking an unassailable 2-0 lead against Zimbabwe, Team India will be hoping for a whitewash in the third and final one-dayer at Harare on Tuesday July 14,2015

India whitewash Zimbabwe 3-0 with 83-run win in the 3rd ODI

An all-round performance gave India a comprehensive 83-run victory in the third ODI as Zimbabwe, chasing 277 to win, were bowled out for 193 in 42.4 overs at the Harare Sports Club on Tuesday.

Kedar Jadhav struck a career-best 105*(87 Balls 4x12 and 6x1) and Manish Pandey made 71(86 Balls 4x4 and 6x1) to take India to a fighting total in the final one-day international of the three-match series. Zimbabwe were looking steady after a 70-run stand between Chamu Chibhabha (82) and Regis Chakabva (27) but after that lost wickets at regular intervals and failed to build a solid stand.

Kedar Jadhav's innings enabled India to recover from a top-order collapse and post a competitive 276 for five after being asked to bat. Jadhav and Pandey put on a crucial 144-run stand for the fifth wicket to revive India after a sloppy start.

Zimbabwe never looked in control of the match after the early dismissal of Hamilton Masakadza (7) by Mohit Sharma in the sixth over. Chibhabha and Chakabva then put on a solid stand for the second wicket to keep Zimbabwe afloat before Indian bowlers picked up two wickets in quick succession to derail the hosts' chase.

Chakabva was dismissed by left-arm spinner Axar Patel in the 23rd over before skipper Elton Chigumbura (10) fell LBW to Murali Vijay. Richmond Mutumbami (22) played a good knock and shared a 53-run partnership with Chibhabha before he was out LBW by Binny .

From there on, Zimbabwe's hopes completely rested on Chibhabha but the opener fell in search of quick runs, caught by Jadhav off Binny. Harbhajan then came to the party and picked up two wickets - Sikander Raza (13) and Graeme Cremer - in consecutive balls of the final over of his spell to put India in a commanding position.
