2015 Wimbledon - Aseel Shaheen is first Arab woman to officiate at Wimbledon

There are 350 personnel officiating this year at Wimbledon, but one of them catches attention instantaneously.

She's Aseel Shaheen – the first Arab woman to be appointed as an official for the prestigious Grand Slam.

Every year, the All England Club in London invites 60 overseas officials, and the 41-year-old Shaheen is one of them but the only one to create history.

Aseel Shaheen(41)from Kuwait, enrolled for a course in 2002; and 13 years later, she is living her dream in the Ralph Lauren-designed blue blazer. She finished third in the course despite negligible knowledge of tennis
