Suicide attack in Kuwait Shia mosque Friday June 26,2015

The Shiite Al-Imam al-Sadeq mosque 

Twenty-seven people have been killed in a suicide attack on a Shiite Muslim mosque in Kuwait City on Friday June 26,2015, the health ministry says.

Health minister Ali al-Obaidi told the state-run Kuwait Television an additional 222 people had been wounded. Kuwait City's governor Thabet al-Muhanna said eight were in a critical condition.

The attack came on a day of bloodshed worldwide on Friday June 26,2015, with at least 37 Gunned down at a Beach Resort in Tunisia and a suspected Islamist launching an assault on aGas Factory in Eastern France

A witness said the Kuwait City bombing happened when the Al-Imam al-Sadeq mosque was packed with some 2,000 worshippers during Friday prayers.

A group affiliated with Islamic State (IS), calling itself Najd Province, has claimed responsibility for the deadly attack

Thee Bomber was identified as Abu Suleiman al-Muwahed and said the target was a "temple of the rejectionists" — a term used by the Islamist militant group to refer to Shiite Muslims

Two Indians were among those killed in a ISIS suicide attack at a Shia mosque .Both the victims - Rizwan Husain (31) and Ibne Abbas (25)- were taking part in the prayers when they died
Rizwan Husain, a resident of Walipur village in Sultanpur district of UP, was working as a watchman in the Mosque and Ibne Abbas from Jalalpur in Ambedkar Nagar of UP was employed as driver.
Their bodies would be buried in Iraq's holy city of Najaf as per their family's wishes
