Century Scored on ODI Debut

1)Denis Amiss of England is the first player to score a century on his ODI debut. He scored 103 off 134 balls, hitting 9 boundaries in Old Trafford against Australia on 24 August 1972.

2)Desmond Haynes of West Indies is the 2nd player to score a century on his ODI debut. He scored 148 of 136 balls in Antigua against Australia, scoring 16 fours and 2 sixes in his innings on 22 February, 1978

3)Andy Flower of Zimbawe was the 3rd player to score a century on his ODI debut. He scored 115* off 152 balls against Sri Lanka in North Plymouth, scoring 8 fours and 1 six in his innings on 23 February, 1992.

4)Saleem Elahi of Pakistan was the 4th player to score a century on his ODI debut. He scored 102* off 133 balls against Sri Lanka in Gujranwala on 29 September 1995, amassing 7 fours and 1 six in his innings.

5)Martin Guptill of New Zealand is the 5th player to score a century on his ODI debut. He scored 122* off 135 balls against West Indies on 10 January, 2009 in Auckland with 8 fours and 2 sixes in his innings.

6)Colin Ingram of South Africa is the 6th player to score a century on his ODI debut. He scored 124 off 126 balls, hitting 8 fours and 2 sixes against Zimbabwe in Bloemfontein on 15 October, 2010.

7)New Zealand player Rob Nicol scored 108* off 131 balls against Zimbabwe in Harare on 20th October 2011. He scored 11 fours in that innings and became the 7th player to do so.
