Apple launches new 15-inch MacBook Pro in India at Rs 1,59,900 onwards

 

Apple has launched its all-new 15-inch MacBook Pro in India for a price of Rs 1,59,900 onwards.

The bigger MacBook Pro features the latest Force Touch trackpad, eliminating the right click as it includes force sensors that detect subtle differences in the amount of downward pressure you apply.

The new 15-inch laptop with Retina display boasts of 2.2 GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.4 GHz, 16GB of memory, 256GB of flash storage and Intel Iris Pro graphics, and a longer battery life with up to 9 hours of wireless web browsing and up to 9 hours of iTunes movie playback.

Its variant with a 2.5 GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.7 GHz, 16GB of memory, 512GB of flash storage and AMD Radeon R9 M370X graphics starts at Rs 1,99,900.
Along with the updated MacBook Pro, Apple also introduced a new 27-inch iMac computer with OS X Yosemite, Retina 5K display that offers 14.7 million pixel display, a 3.3 GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost Speeds up to 3.7 GHz and AMD Radeon R9 M290 graphics.

The new iMac also includes 8GB memory, 1TB of storage and four USB ports and two Thunderbolt 2 ports. The high-end model with Retina 5K display starts at Rs 1,79,900
