Pakistan have gone 2271 days since they last played a match at home, on March 2, 2009

Zimbabwe last played a T20 match more than a year ago at the World T20 and they have only played five T20s in the last two years. Two of those were against Pakistan in Harare and Zimbabwe lost both

The Zimbabwe squad and its accompanying officials arrived in Lahore early on Tuesday and they had their first training session at the Gaddafi Stadium later in the day. Zimbabwe will play two T20 internationals and three ODIs against Pakistan between May 19 and 31, the first international matches to be held in the country since gunmen attacked the Sri Lankan team bus on March 3, 2009.

Pakistan beat Zimbabwe by 5 wickets

Pakistan marked the return of international cricket with a five-wicket win against Zimbabwe in the first Twenty20 on Friday. Opening batsman Mukhtar Ahmed, playing in only his second T20 international, bludgeoned 83 Runs (45 balls with 4x12 & 6x3)as Pakistan reached 173-5 in 19.3 overs. 

Zimbabwe captain Elton Chigumbura's 54 off 34 balls had provided the visitors a decent 172-6. 

A capacity crowd of 27,000 packed the Gaddafi Stadium for the first international match in Pakistan in six years
