BCCI Seeks Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid as Cricket Advisors

 
The Board of Control for Cricket in India has expressed its desire to appoint former cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid as advisors on all cricket-related matters.

 In its working committee meeting on Sunday April 26,2015, the BCCI decided to seek the approval of the legendary players on the matter.

The three cricketers who together served Indian cricket on the field for decades are widely known as the stalwarts of Indian cricket. Their expertise is considered valuable and the Board wants them to advise it on all important cricketing matters including the appointment of national coach and/or director. "The working committee of the BCCI authorised president Mr Jagmohan Dalmiya to constitute a cricket advisory committee comprising of prominent cricketers who will share their recommendations on the overall conduct and development of the game," read a media release
