2015 Sudanese Election April 13-15,2015

 
Between April 13-15,2015,the Sudanese people will head to polls in the country's first election since the the south ceded from the north after a 2011 referendum

Counting of Votes is expected  to begin shortly afterthe last polls close on April 15,2015
The Results are scheduled to be announced on April 27,2015

More than 13 million registered votes at 11000 polling stations will elect -
1)President
elected by absolute majority t hrough two-round system

President Omar al Bashir came to power following a coup in 1989 and has been ruling the country ever snce

2)450 National Assembly Seats to serve 5-year term

3)Legislative Council of the States

Each Voter will have the opportunity to vote -

1)one ballot for the President of the Republic of Sudan

2)three ballots for the National Assembly
one for the geographical constituency
one for the female candidate
one for the 44 political parties in the race for the election

3)three ballots for the State Assembly
one for the geographical constituency
one for the female candidate
one for the 44 political parties in the race for the election
