2015 Indian Premier League(IPL)Season 8 to be graced by women commentators April 08 - May 29,2015

 

Ever since its inauguration, the Indian Premier League has brought to cricket some ground-breaking innovations. The league has also ensured to bring something new for the fans every year – a new experience, some new faces on and off the field and enhancements in its television and digital broadcast.

Pepsi IPL 2015 will see one such introduction in the commentary box. In its seven years, IPL has brought cricket various new audiences. The biggest gain in this regards is the large interest that women have begun to show in India’s favourite sport. To take the involvement of women in the IPL to a new level, the commentary box this season will be graced with four of the finest of former women cricketers from around the world.

Anjum Chopra(a former Indian batter and captain), Isa Guha(former England fast bowler), Lisa Sthaleker(Indian born former Australian all-rounder ) and Melanie Jones(Australian Cricketer) will be part of the 26-member strong commentary team that will bring Pepsi IPL 2015 live to audiences around the world.
