Daniel Vettori Claims 300+ Wickets in ODI's Sunday March 08,2015

 

Daniel Vettori is the 9th player to take more than 300 wickets in both tests and ODIs

Daniel Vettori now has 302 ODI wickets (when he finished with 4/18 Vs Afghanistan @ Napier in the 2015 WC)- 294 wickets for New Zealand, and 8 wickets for the ICC World XI against an Asia XI and Australia in 2005

Daniel Vettori became the 12th player and first New Zealander to reach the milestone with the list headed by Sri Lanka's Muttiah Muralitharan (534) and Wasim Akram of Pakistan (502), the only two players to have breached the 500-wicket barrier.

Daniel Vettori has played 291 ODIs since first selected in 1997 and his 300 wickets are at an average 31.62.

Daniel Vettori has also scored 2,213 ODI runs, while at Test level he has 362 wickets and 4,531 runs
