Fernando Torres unveiled in front of 45,000 Atletico Madrid fans at the Vicente Calderon as striker relishes dream move 'back home'

Atletico Madrid signing Fernando Torres was paraded in front of a bumper crowd at the Vicente Calderon on Sunday Jan 04,2015 as fans welcomed their prodigal son home.

Fernando Torres(30) has been brought in by the La Liga champions Atletico Madrid on an initial six-month loan deal after unsuccessful spells with Chelsea and AC Milan.

And despite scoring once in 14 games in Italy, over 40,000 supporters were delighted to catch a glimpse of the Spaniard who returns to Atletico after more than seven years away from his boyhood club.
