India Tour of Australia: A Brief History
1947-48 - Result: Australia 4, India 0, Draw 1
India's first experience on the Australian soil came when the Lala
Amarnath-led India faced Don Bradman's Australia at the Brisbane Cricket
Ground. India began the tour on an awful note as they were trounced by
an innings and 226 runs
1967-68 - Result: Australia 4, India 0, Drawn 0
1977-78 - Result: Australia 3, India 2, Drawn 0
Bishen Singh Bedi captained India to their first ever Test win on
Australian soil in 1977-78. After losing the first two Tests of the
five-match series, India went on to win the third and fourth match
thanks to the incredible left-arm spin bowling by skipper Bedi and
Bhagwath Chandrasekhar, who bagged 31 and 28 wickets, respectively, in
the series. But India lost the final game to concede the series 2-3.

1986-86 - Result: Australia 0, India 0, Drawn 3
1991-92 - Result: Australia 4, India 0, Drawn 1
1999-2000 - Result: Australia 3, India 0, Drawn 0

2011-12 - Result: Australia 4, India 0, Drawn 0
