Chennai Super Kings face disqualification over Meiyappan's indictment

“If we ask you to take action, what would be the action? You have to disqualify the team. We are not going for another committee or inquiry, neither should you. You act based on the Mudgal panel’s report. What would you do if we ask you to act within ten days? Now the findings are there and there [are] clear notings against Meiyappan,” Justice T.S. Thakur, who heads the two-judge SC Bench, told BCCI lawyer Aryama Sundaram

The Supreme Court on Thursday Nov 27,2014 asked why it shouldn’t be scrapped in view of its team official Gurunath Meiyappan’s indictment by the Mudgal probe committee for indulging in betting during last year’s IPL.
