2014 England Vs India Natwest International T20 At Birmingham Sunday Sep 07,2014

India's long tour of England ended on a heartbreaking note as the hosts held their nerve to pull off a thrilling three-run win in the one-off T20 International in Birmingham on Sunday Sep 07,2014

India ended at 177 for five after England posted 180 for seven, thanks to captain Eoin Morgan’s 71 runs off 31 balls. A positive for India was Virat Kohli’s first half-century (66 off 44)

Eoin Morgan's seven sixes equalled Chris Gayle's record for a Twenty20 captain
Eoin Morgan's fifty was the first by an England captain in T20s since Paul Collingwood's 57 against South Africa five years ago
Ajinkya Rahane was the first Indian and the fifth fielder overall to take four catches in a T20 innings

England won the toss and decided to bat
