ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Australian singer Iggy Azalea is one of the latest celebrities to take on the 'ice bucket challenge'.

Nominated for the chilling task by fellow music Jennifer Lopez, 24-year-old Iggy stepped on Sunday Aug 17,2014 and recorded herself performing the stunt.

The rapper bared her body in a neon two-piece swimsuit before a bucket of chilled water was dumped over her- an act meant to raise awareness of disease ALS - amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

The disease affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord in control of voluntary muscle movement.

Several big name celebrities have been participating in the awareness-raising exercise in recent days, which aims to encourage people to donate money to the ALS Association, a charity that fights Lou Gerhig's disorder.

Jennifer Lopez has become the latest celebrity to accept the ALS ice bucket challenge, which raises awareness and funds for Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

Showing off her sculpted abs, the 45-year-old singer performed the chilling drill in a plunging black sports bra and low-rise cropped black leggings with a grey waistband.
