US House of Representatives Pass Resolution To Sue President Brack Obama Wednesday July 30,2014

The US House of Representatives has passed a resolution to sue President Barack Obama for allegedly exceeding his constitutional powers.
The 225-201 vote along party lines means House lawyers will now draft legal documents to launch a lawsuit.
Its supporters say Mr Obama exceeded his powers when he delayed an insurance deadline in his healthcare law.
The president himself has dismissed it as a waste of time. "Everyone sees this as a political stunt," he said.
"If they're not going to do anything, we'll do what we can on our own," the president added.

The Republican-led House of Representatives voted Wednesday July 30,2014 to sue President Barack Obama for allegedly overstepping his powers, a move swiftly denounced by his Democratic allies as a cynical election-year stunt.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (C) is joined by fellow Democrats at a news conference in the US Capitol July 30, 2014, after the House voted to sue President Barack Obama.

By a party-line vote of 225 to 201, the House voted to resort to the unprecedented move of taking the president to court for not having stringently followed the letter of the law while implementing his signature "Obamacare" health care reform bill.
