James Anderson-Ravindra Jadeja Row -Ravindra Jadeja Fined 50% of Match Fee by ICC


India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been fined 50% of his match fee following an altercation with England's James Anderson during the first Test.

The International Cricket Council(ICC) found the 25-year-old guilty of "conduct contrary to the spirit of the game".

The Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) is "not satisfied with the verdict" and is considering an appeal.

James Anderson could face a maximum 4-Test Match Ban at his hearing on August 01,2014 for allegedly abusing and pushing Ravindra Jadeja.

James Anderson , who faces a level three charge, will be available for the third Test, which begins at Hampshire's Rose Bowl on 27 July, but could miss the fourth and fifth Tests if found guilty.

The England and Wales Cricket Board strongly denied the accusations and lodged its own counter-complaint against Ravindra Jadeja
