Australia and New Zealand are ready to contest the first day-night Test match.

Australia chief James Sutherland said that plans are at an advanced
stage and their 2015/16 series is likely to feature a match with
floodlights and a pink ball.
The
venue, in Australia, is yet to be decided but the match will not be the
traditional Boxing Day Test in Melbourne or New Year's Test in Sydney
and is more likely to be in either Hobart or Adelaide.
