Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday
June 12,2014 has signed deals with corporate giants for investment worth Rs 35,000
crore at the UP Investors Conclave held in the Capital.
The Essel
Group declared an investment of Rs 20,000 crore in UP, while Reliance
Jio proposed to shell out Rs 5,000 crore for implementation of 4G
network in the state.
Firms such as ITC, Amity, Fortis Sonalika and others also signed MoUs
with the UP government on Thursday June 12,2014
However, no timeline for finalising
these agreements or projects was announced.
Wooing the investors,Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said the signing of so many MoUs shows that UP will move ahead on the road to prosperity
