The dos and dont's of life as a BJP MP Saturday June 28,2014

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid down the dos and don'ts for first-time MPs of the BJP on Saturday June 28,2014, advising the lawmakers to nurture their constituencies, stay away from corruption and nepotism and avoid airing their differences in public. 

The "Modi mantra", as outlined by the PM at a training programme in Surajkund for some 160 new MPs of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, focussed on taking the message of good governance to the people and ensuring that their conduct in Parliament and in public was above question. 

After inaugurating a twoday training programme for the newly elected BJP MPs at Surajkund, Prime Minister Narendra Modi guided them to make use of the media, especially social media, in spreading the party's message.
However, the irony was that the media was kept out of the training programme on the orders of the prime minister.

The workshop comes ahead of the Budget session starting on July 07,2014
