Mexico fans celebrate 2014 FIFA World Cup victory over Croatia Monday June 23,2014

Mexican soccer fans were dispersed by police after a celebration turned disorderly.

The majority of the hundreds of fans that poured into the streets of Huntington Park, California after Mexico won its world Cup match Monday were peaceful, but about a dozen began rocking cars and tossing bottles at riot officers.

The team beat Croatia 3-1 to advance from the group stage of the soccer tournament to the knockout round for the sixth World Cup in a row.
