The Saturdays new video for latest single ''What Are You Waiting For''

The Saturdays have given fans their first look at the sunny new video for latest single What Are You Waiting For – and with it their very first slice of bikini action.

Filming took place on the Holiday Village resort in Rhodes earlier this month, and all four girls stripped down to skimpy swimwear as filming kicked off in an outdoor pool

Final

Novak Djokovic Vs Roger Federer

Roger Federer will be chasing a record eighth Wimbledon title and 18th Grand Slam crown overall in what will be his 25th championship match at a major while top seed Djokovic, the champion in 2011, targets a seventh major in his third Wimbledon final in four years.

Roger Federer will take an 18-16 career lead over Novak Djokovic into Sunday's championship match.

Boris Becker(Coach of Novak Djokovic) and Stefan Edberg(coach of Roger Federer) faced off 35 times in their career, with three of those being on this very same occasion.

Now the rivalry rekindles itself by proxy, with their respective coaching charges Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer going for the ultimate prize.
It is a sweet coincidence that this will also be the 35th meeting between this afternoon’s finalists, although their career record against each other (18-16 to the Swiss) is much closer than the 25-10 superiority of the German over the Swede.

  • Roger Federer fought back in the fourth to level the match

  • Roger Federer was looking to win his eighth title at SW19
Age shall not weary Roger Federer nor the years condemn, but still the veteran Swiss master could not summon up enough to break the spirit of Novak Djokovic.
Turning 33 next month and now the father of four, the extraordinary Federer somehow managed to  turn Sunday’s Wimbledon final into a marathon

Novak Djokovic finally prevailed 6-7, 6-4, 7-6, 5-7, 6-4 in just under four hours

HOW THE MATCH WAS WON

FIRST SET: 7-6 (9-7) Federer – both players produce their best tennis throughout, with no break points on offer. A trademark ace helps the seven-time champion to the tie-break win.
SECOND SET: 6-4 Djokovic – The Serb breaks Federer early on and never looks back, with only two unforced errors in the whole set.
THIRD SET: 7-6 (7-4) Djokovic – Again neck and neck with no breaks, but this time Novak dominates the tie-break.
FOURTH SET: 7-5 Federer – The most thrilling set in the match by far, with five breaks of serve. Djokovi leads 5-2 but throws it all away, missing  championship point in the process. Federer wins five games in a row to send it into a decider.
FIFTH SET: 6-4 Djokovic – Both men on their last legs but the 27-year-old finds some of his best tennis when it matters most. A few unforced errors from Federer help Djokovic break him for the championship.

Not a single American tennis player reaches the last 16 at Wimbledon for first time in 103 years

The last two of 23 U.S. entrants departed on Monday. First, Madison Keys withdrew because of a strained left thigh before the scheduled resumption of her third-round match that was suspended because of darkness on Saturday.
Then, No. 9 John Isner lost his third-round match despite hitting 52 aces, eliminated 6-7 (8), 7-6 (6), 7-6 (3), 7-5 by 19th-seeded Feliciano Lopez of Spain.

In 2014 Wimbledon, there were 13 women from the United States, including No. 1-seeded Serena Williams, a five-time Wimbledon champion who lost her third-round match Saturday.
There were 10 U.S. men in the field, but John Isner was the only one ranked inside the top 65.

Last year at Wimbledon, no American men made it to the third round. No man from the country has played in the quarterfinals at any Grand Slam tournament since 2011, and the last to win a major championship was the now-retired Andy Roddick at the 2003 U.S. Open.

2014 Wimbledon Women's Singles Final
Eugenie Bouchards Vs Petra Kvitova

Petra Kvitova wins Wimbledon 2014 title after beating Eugenie Bouchard in straight sets on Centre Court in a 55-minute exhibition of terrifyingly good tennis on Saturday July 05,2014

Petra Kvitova broke Bouchard’s serve six times and won seven consecutive games to triumph 6-3, 6-0

Eugenie Bouchard was no match for Kvitova, who was imperious in winning her second Wimbledon title. The world No 6 greeted victory by shutting her eyes momentarily, raising both arms towards her player’s box and laying flat on the lawn

It was the shortest women’s final since 1983 when another Czech, Martina Navratilova, took 54  minutes to beat Andrea Jaeger, an American who has since become a nun

Petra Kvitova beats Bouchard in straight sets, 6-3, 6-0
  • Match took just 55 minutes on Centre Court on Saturday
  • Eugenie Bouchard was broken six times in a row, denying her a first Grand Slam title
  • Petra Kvitova last won Wimbledon in 2011, three years before

Luis Suarez apologises on Twitter to Giorgio Chiellini for bite

Luis Suarez faced further criticism on Monday June 30,2014 night after issuing a belated apology for biting Giorgio Chiellini and promising never to be involved in such an incident again - just as Barcelona stepped up their bid to sign him.

Four days after receiving a four-month ban from the game and telling FIFA that the clash during Uruguay’s World Cup match against Italy in Natal was an accident in which he ‘lost balance’, the Liverpool striker made a complete U-turn and admitted he deeply regretted his actions. But the apology has led to widespread cynicism in the week that the 27-year-old was linked with an £80million move to the Nou Camp.

In the statement issued on Twitter, Suarez said: ‘After several days of being home with my family, I have had the opportunity to regain my calm and reflect about the reality of what occurred during the Italy-Uruguay match on 24 June 2014.
‘Independent from the fallout and the contradicting declarations that have surfaced during these past days, all of which have been without the intention of interfering with the good performance of my national team, the truth is that my colleague Giorgio Chiellini suffered the physical result of a bite in the collision he suffered with me.
‘For this: I deeply regret what occurred. I apologise to Giorgio Chiellini and the entire football family. I vow to the public that there will never again be another incident like this.’
Juventus defender Chiellini retweeted Suarez's apology on his own site, having previously said the four-month ban issued to Suarez should not have been so severe.
Chiellini also replied to the Tweet directly, saying 'It's all forgotten. I hope FIFA will reduce your suspension.'
He had previously said: 'At the moment my only thought is for Luis and his family, because they will face a very difficult period.

'I have always considered unequivocal the disciplinary interventions by the competent bodies, but at the same time I believe that the proposed formula is excessive.
'I sincerely hope that he will be allowed, at least, to stay close to his team mates during the games because such a ban is really alienating for a player.'
Accident? Luis Suarez told FIFA he did not deliberately bite Giorgio Chiellini but fell on top of him

Belgium Vs USA at Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador

Managers

Marc Wilmots(Belgium)
Jurgen Klinsmann(USA)

Standing in their way are the USA, who reached the last eight most recently in 2002.

Match Facts

  • Belgium have won the four subsequent meetings, keeping a clean sheet in three.
  • The Red Devils won 4-2 in Cleveland last year in their most recent encounter. Christian Benteke scored twice for Belgium that night, with Kevin Mirallas and Marouane Fellaini also among the goals. Clint Dempsey and Geoff Cameron replied for the USA.

  • Belgium won all three of their group matches at a World Cup for the first time. It was also the first time they had won three successive World Cup games.

Tim Howard sets new World Cup record after making 15 saves for USA against Belgium

For in making 15 saves, the Everton man had set a new World Cup record since such statistics were first collected in 1966. Peru's Ramon Quiroga held the previous best with 13 against Holland in 1978.

It was the best performance from an American goalkeeper since Sylvester Stallone’s exploits in the 1981 film Escape to Victory.

Pentagon chief Hagel called Tim Howard on Wednesday to offer his congratulations and acknowledge the 'Secretary of Defense' joke that spread over the past day
U.S. goalkeeper Tim Howard was randomly drug-tested immediately after Tuesday's match against Belgium during which he set a World Cup record by making an amazing 16 saves.
Howard wasn't able to join his teammates in the locker room immediately after the 2-1 defeat because FIFA selected him to take the test
Two players from both teams are randomly drug-tested after each World Cup match, per FIFA regulations.
FIFA has yet to release the results of Howard's test. No player has tested positive for banned substances at this World Cup.
US Goalkeeper Tim Howard was cheered on by Today show host Natalie Morales the day after he tried to keep his team alive in a heartbreaking defeat

Match facts

Tim Howard made more saves in a single game (15) than any other player in World Cup history (1966-2014). Four of Belgium's six goals at the 2014 World Cup have been scored by substitutes.
Julian Green scored with his first ever touch of the ball in the World Cup. Seven of the USA's 17 shots against Belgium came in the second period of extra-time.

Certainly Belgium were partly to blame for not wrapping this up in normal time. They were not clinical in front of goal and it was only really in the last 15 minutes of normal time that Howard was required to produce his best work, saving from centre forward Divock Origi twice, Kevin Mirallas once and also from the largely disappointing Eden Hazard.
When Belgium finally took the lead in the third minute of extra time it was with their 32nd shot of the game. At that stage, only USA goalkeeper Tim Howard had stood between Belgium and the convincing victory they have been seeking all tournament.
