Rita Ora - British singer-songwriter and actress



Rita Sahatçiu Ora (DOB Nov 26, 1990) is a British singer-songwriter and actress


Rita Ora was born  in Pristina,Kosovo to Kosovar-Albanian parents and moved to the UK when she was 1

Rita Ora has an older sister, Elena, and a younger brother, Don. She was named after her film director grandfather Besim Sahatçiu’s favourite film star,Rita Hayworth

Rita Ora began singing from a young age.

In 2007, Ora had her first music release when she appeared on Craig David's track titled "Awkward" and then again in 2008 on '' Where's Your Love''  featuring Tinchy Stryder , for which she also appeared in the music video

Rita Ora has appeared in 2 songs of James Morrison's  album Songs For You,Truths For Me as backing vocal.

In 2009 Rita Ora made a cameo on Jay-Z's video for " Young Forever "

In 2010,Rita Ora made a cameo on "Over" video by Drake

Rita Ora auditioned for Eurovision:Your Country Needs You on BBC One to be the British contestant for the 2009 Eorovision Song Contest but later withdrew from the competition after a few episodes as she did not feel ready

From 23 October through to 30 October 2012, Ora embarked on her first headlining tour, The Ora Tour, a five-date US tour supported by  MTV

On 4 November 2012, Ora released her third single from Ora, ''Shine Ya Light'',the song peaked at No. 10 on the UK Singles Chart, making it the fourth top ten single for Rita Ora in 2012

On  February 11,2013,Rita Ora released "Radio Active", the fourth single from Ora.

On April 30,2013, Hunger TV released the video for "Facemelt", the final single from Ora

Rita Ora embarked on her twelve-date UK Radioactive Tour, from 28 January through to 13 February 2013. During her tour, Ora performed a song called "Fair", which she announced will be on her sophomore album scheduled to be released in 2013.

On January 30,2014, Ora announced the lead single from her second studio album would be called I Will Never Let You Down, featuring Calvin Harris

1)Ora(2012)debuted at number one in the United Kingdom, and spawned the number-one singles "R.I.P" and "How We Do(Party)"


R.I.P  was released on May 06,2012, the song debuted at the top of the UK singles chart, becoming her first solo UK No. 1, and second overall

On August 12, 2012, "How We Do (Party)" was released in UK and reached No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart. It was Ora's second No. 1 as a solo artist and third overall in 2012


Rita Ora became the artist with the most number-one singles on the UK Singles Chart in 2012


Rita Ora was nominated for 3 awards at the 2013 BRIT Awards, including the BRIT Award for Best British Breakthrough Act

Rita Ora  has really turned it up a notch or two by going topless in the May 2014 edition of UK Elle magazine.

The shot also reveals a huge tattoo inspired by a Alberto Vargas image of a pin-up girl.

Rita Ora, the singer, who is currently promoting her new single I Will Never Let You Down, said she had been obsessed by the art.

The 23-year-old said: 'It’s based on an original piece by Alberto Vargas, who was an incredible illustrator in the 1930s.
'He was one of the creators of the pin-up image. That’s our build, our power.’

Rita Ora has unveiled the official video to her brand new single I Will Never Let You Down.
Francesco Carrozzino directed it and Ora shows off a number of dance moves, but what is more entrancing is the sheer number of costume changes she goes through.
And in a few scenes, Rita, 23, is wearing a simple black strappy all-in-one while writhing around and singing the words to her upbeat love song.
