Odisha sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik motivating voters to exercise their franchise

To motivate voters to exercise their right, a sand animation film made by renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik was released by the Odisha Chief Electoral Officer Mona Sharma

The one-and-a-half minute film will be telecast on Doordarshan and private TV channels and screened at cinema halls across the state besides being promoted through social media websites. 

Through the film, Mr. Pattnaik has sent out messages such as “Don’t sell your vote”, “Don’t get influenced by false promises” and “Don’t get swayed by freebies”. 

The animation film and two photographs of sand art were released by the Director General of Election Commission Akshy Rout.
