KKR beats RCB By 2 Runs in thrilling last-ball finish

Riding on a great catch and superb bowling at the death, Kolkata Knight Riders staged a dramatic fightback to pull off a two-run win over Royal Challengers Bangalore in a thrilling last-ball finish in the Indian Premier League in Sharjah on Thursday April 24,2014 

Earlier KKR were off to another disastrous start, losing skipper Gautam Gambhir for a duck for the third straight time.

An 80-run third-wicket partnership between Jacques Kallis 43 Runs and Chriss Lynn 45 Runs(31 Balls with 4x3 and 6x3) put them back on track, before three quick wickets pegged the former champions back.

Robin Uthappa 22 Runs and Suryakumar Yadav 24 * then took them to a decent total of 150/7 in 20 Overs

Chasing 151 Runs RCB were off to a blazing start with Yogesh Takawale 40 Runs(28 Balls)and Parthiv Patel 21 Runs

At the end of 10 Overs RCB needed 64 runs with 8 wickets in hand

The Turning Point of the Match was the catch taken by Chris Lynn to dismiss AB de Villiers

Needing 9 Runs from the last over, RCB could manage only 6 Runs, thanks largely to R. Vinay Kumar's superb bowling
