Mick Jagger's Girlfriend L'Wren Scott(49) found dead Monday March 17,2014



Mick Jagger's girlfriend, fashion designer L'Wren Scott(49) was found dead after hanging herself in her Manhattan apartment on Monday morning March 17,2014


L'Wren Scott(49)was found by her assistant hanging in her Manhattan apartment 

A spokesman for Mick Jagger(70)said the singer was "completely shocked and devastated" following the news of her death. 


When asked if they were still in a relationship at the time of her death, he replied 'of course'.



 Mick Jagger and L'Wren Scott had been dating since 2001



Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones, who landed in Perth for their upcoming Australian tour, have cancelled their upcoming show in Australia. 

The band announced they would not be performing in Perth on Wednesday night following Scott's death.

Their promoter's Frontier Touring posted a Facebook message on Tuesday afternoon which read: "We regret to announce that The Rolling Stones concert in Perth will not be going ahead as scheduled for Wednesday 19 March 2014." 

The Rolling Stones are in the country for their 14 On Fire six-show stadium tour of Australia, which they announced on December 04,2013 

The body of tragic fashion designer L'Wren Scott was taken from a Manhattan funeral home on Sunday March 23,2014 morning and flown to Los Angeles - where boyfriend Mick Jagger is making arrangements for her burial

Following Bill Wyman's departure in 1993,Darryl Jones has been the main bassist

The Rolling Stones  have released 29 studio albums, 18  live albums and numerous compilations
