Mahendra Singh Dhoni equals world record for most stumpings in international cricket Sunday March 23,2014


Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who stumped Marlon Samuels, in the 2014 World T20 Match against  West Indies at Mirpur,Bangladesh on sunday March 23,2014,equallied the world record for most stumpings in international cricket - 127 dismissals.


With Marlon Samuels' stumping, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (439 innings) has emulated Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara's tally of 127 stumpings in 637 innings in international cricket.

Both share a world record for most stumpings in international cricket.

Romesh Kaluwitharana(Sri Lanka) is the only other wicketkeeper to have 100 stumpings in international cricket - 101 in 275 innings.
