Infosys Resignations in 2013-14

 

Infosys has been hit by a few senior level exits ever since co-founder NR Narayana Murthy returned to helm the company in June 2013

Infosys on November 18,2013 announced that Stephen R Pratt, head of utilities and resources for North America, resigned from the company. 

Stephen R Pratt, who had joined Infosys in 2004, was also a member of the company's executive council, its highest decision making body.

Stephen R Pratt was the highest-paid executive in Infosys, taking home a total compensation of $2.13 million (over Rs 11 crore) in the previous fiscal and received over $1.3 million in bonus/incentive.

V. Balakrishnan, who was seen as a candidate to become the next chief executive, resigned in December 2013 and joined the Aam Aadmi Party and is contesting the 2014 Lok Sabha Election from Bangalore Central.

Apart from being a director, V Balakrishnan also headed key units at Infosys including Lodestone.

 

Basab Pradhan,Global sales and marketing head quit the company to start his own venture

Kartik Jayaraman, who was heading Infosys BPO sales in Australia, quit in Sep 2013 and has reportedly joined outsourcing major Accenture.

Chandrashekar Kakal, a member of the executive council and who holds the operational responsibility for the India Business Unit, is the ninth high-level executive to quit Infosys since Murthy took the helm in June 2013

Ashok Vemuri a member of Infosys board and head of Americas and Global Head of Manufacturing and Engineering Services resigns and is now the president and CEO of iGate Corporation and also a member of its board.

Sudhir Chaturvedi , Infosys' vice president and financial services head for the Americas, also resigned in August 2013 and is now chief operating officer (COO) of IT services firm NIIT Technologies

Humberto Andrade,BPO head for Latin America quits and is now Capgemini Vice President, Consumer Products/Retail/Distribution BPO - Americas.

Paul Gottsegen,chief marketing officerquits in Sep 2013 and has joined Mindtree as senior vice-president and chief marketing and strategy officer.
