The 2014 ICC World Twenty20 will be the 5th ICC World Twenty20 Competition, an international Twenty20 cricket tournament that is scheduled to take place in Banglades from March 16- April 06,2014

It will be second and consecutive time that an Asian country will host this event, as Sri Lanka hosted the preivous tournament in 2012

India won the inaugural edition in 2007, followed by Pakistan (2009), England (2010) and West Indies (2012).

Logo

On April 06,2013,ICC unveiled the logo of the tournament at a gala event in  Dhaka,Bangladesh

The overall look of the logo design is primarily inspired by the unique Bangladesh tuktuk decoration art style

The logo uses the colours of the Bangladesh Flag with splashes of blue representing the country's rivers (also as being the ICC's own colour)

The logo is also inspired by the Rickshaws, the The T is made up of Cricket Stumps and the '0' in the T20 represents the Cricket Ball complete with a green seam

India beats Pakistan by 7 wickets

India have won all 4 matches against Pakistan at the World Twenty20.

The tally includes the 'bowl-out' after an exciting 'tie' at Kingsmead, Durban on September 14, 2007; 

by five runs in the final at Johannesburg on September 24, 2007,

by 8 wickets at Colombo (RPS) on September 30, 2012 and 

by 7 wickets at Dhaka on March 21, 2014. 

India got their World T20 campaign off to a bright start with a convincing 7-wicket win over Pakistan
at the Sher-e-Bangla International Cricket Stadium,Mirpur,Bangladesh

Put in to bat in the Group B match, the Pakistani batsmen struggled against disciplined Indian bowling and largely sharp fielding, managing 130 for seven wickets in 20 overs. 

For Pakistan, Umar Akmal was the top scorer with 33 (30 balls, 2x4s) while Shehzad made 22 and Shoaib Maqsood 21

A 50-run partnership for the fourth wicket between Malik and Akmal saved Pakistan from total embarrassment.

In reply, 2007 ICC World T20 Champions India, after being given a 54-run start by openers Shikhar Dhawan 30 Runs(28 balls, 5x4s) and Rohit Sharma 24 Runs( 21 balls, 1x4, 2x6s), finished at 131/3 in 18.3 overs

Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma were associated in a partnership of 54 - India's second highest opening stand against Pakistan at the World T20 - the highest being 77 between Gautam Gambhir and Ajinkya Rahane at Bangalore on December 25, 2012.

Virat Kohli (36 not out, 32 balls, 4x4s, 1x6) and Suresh Raina (35 not out, 28 balls, 4x4s, 1x6) forged the match-winning unbeaten partnership of 66 - India's highest for the 4th wicket at the World T20, eclipsing the 61 between Yuvraj Singh and Mahendra Singh Dhoni against England at Durban on September 19, 2007.

Leg-spinner Amit Mishra was adjudged Man of the Match for his tight bowling who bagged two wickets, those of Ahmed Shehzad and Shoaib Malik to strangle the Pakistani innings that never got going at the Sher-e-Bangla International Cricket Stadium,Mirpur,Bangladesh

Amit Mishra (2 for 22) has recorded his best bowling figures in T20Is. He has got his first MOM award in T20Is.


Apart from Mishra, the other bowling hero was left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja, the most accurate of the six Indian bowlers as he conceded just 4.50 runs per over and took the wicket of Shehzad stumped by captain M.S. Dhoni.

Rohit Sharma has completed his 400 runs - 409 (ave.51.12) in 18 matches. His average is the best by an Indian batsman and the second highest at World T20, next only to Michael's Hussey's 54.62 (437 in 21 matches)
