Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean to be showcased at CES 2014


Samsung has announced Galaxy Camera 2, successor to the Android based Galaxy Camera that it announced at IFA last year. Samsung will be showcasing the camera at the Consumer Electronics Show(CES) during January 7-10, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada,USA

Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 comes with a 16.3 effective megapixel 1/2.3-inch BSI CMOS sensor and 21x optical zoom. The Android 4.3-based camera is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core processor alongside 2GB RAM. The Galaxy Camera 2 comes with 8GB internal storage (2.8GB user accessible), which is expandable by up to 64GB via microSD card. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC and Bluetooth.

Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 also comes with pre-loaded Dropbox app with 50GB of free cloud storage for up to two years. Apart from 28 different pre-set modes, the Galaxy Camera 2 has Tag & Go feature to connect  to NFC-enabled smartphones and devices easily. Other features include, S Voice, Smart Mode Suggest, New Smart Mode Selfie Alarm for self-portraits, Multi Motion Video and more.
