Thousands queue in the dark on Boxing Day to grab post-Christmas bargains Thursday Dec 26,2013


Many shops saw long queues in the small hours of the morning as bargain-hunters competed to get in as early as possible, with some retailers opening at 6am.

Even at 6am, the Next in North Tyneside was packed with bargain-hunters
Security guards at the Highcross centre in Leicester had to stop the crowds from flooding shops
