New European Union Rail Booking Service Launched Tuesday Nov 12,2013

Train travellers can for the first time book tickets from Britain to France, Germany and other European destinations in a single transaction.

Start-up firm Loco2.com is offering the service in an attempt to make cross-border European rail trips cheaper and easier to organise.Loco2.com on Tuesday Nov 12,2013 launched the first pan-European rail booking service that integrates buying train tickets from any UK station travelling to thousands of European destinations into a single transaction.
Loco2.com won't charge you any additional booking fees and offers print-at-home and collect-at-station tickets for the UK, France and Germany

Until now, rail users have had to go to different websites to book different parts of their journey

Loco2.com now made possible to book the whole journey in one go on one website in one transaction

Loco2.com said -

  • it wanted to provide a service for trains that was as simple as flights on budget airlines
  • wants to promote rail travel as a green alternative to flying
