Japan Honours Former Delhi Metro Chief E Sreedharan Wednesday Nov 06,2013

 

The Japanese Govt has honoured Delhi's former Metro chief E. Sreedharan for promoting friendly relations between the two countries through Delhi Metro.

E Sreedharan, also principal advisor to the Metro, was conferred the "Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star" at an event held in Tokyo on Wednesday Nov 06,2013

E Sreedharan received an insignia and certificate from Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

E Sreedharan attributed the honour to the "entire Delhi Metro family" and said, "I have been conferred with the award because of the achievements of the Delhi Metro Rail Corp."
