Australia will tour India to play 7 ODIs and a T20 International in October and November 2013

 The series will begin with the T20 in Rajkot on October 10 followed by the ODIs, which will all be day-night matches, the last of them to be played in Bangalore on November 2,2013

Australia captain Michael Clarke has been ruled out of the tour to India and requires "extensive rehabilitation" ahead of the return Ashes series

Yuvraj Singh(31)is back in the team after his rousing form in the matches against West Indies ‘A’.He was the leading run-getter for India A in the limited-overs series against the touring West Indies A, with 224 runs from three matches, including one hundred and a fifty at an average of 74.66.

Yuvraj’s last ODI was against England at Dharamsala in January 2013

Yuvraj comes in for M. Vijay, who the selectors believe is better suited for Test cricket
Dinesh Karthik makes way for Ambati Rayudu
Paceman Mohammed Shami comes in for the injured Irfan Pathan and
left-arm seamer Jaidev Unadkat 

Dinesh Karthik’s omission is debatable. The wicketkeeper-batsman did have his moments in the Champions Trophy where he made an unbeaten 51 against the West Indies at the Oval. Then, Karthik came up with an innings of 69, in a crisis situation for India in the away series against Zimbabwe

Dinesh Karthik, Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane, seamer Mohit and spinner Parvez Rasool missed out from the team that played Zimbabwe.
