Indian Women's Trio Win Gold Medal at the Archery World Cup 2013

 

The Indian Trio - Rimil Buriuly,Deepika Kumari and Laishram Bombayla Devi won their second successive gold medal on Sunday Aug 25,2013 defeating former world champion South Korea 219-215 in the final of the Recurve Team Event of the World Cup Archery Stage 4 at Wraclow, Poland

 

The Indian Trio ranked 6th defeated -

 

10th-seeded Denmark 214-206 in the quarterfinals

3rd-seeded Mexico 211-202 in the pre-quarterfinals

11th seeded Indonesia 217-216 in the first round

The Danish Women won the Bronze Nedal Defeating Russian Women 210-194

 

Note

Earlier India had beaten South Korea in the Sf's of the 2011 World championship, the score being 216-212
