FINA World Championships will be held in Barcelona,Spain from July 20 - Aug 4,2013
The
FINA World Championships or
World Aquatics Championships are the World Championships for Aquatics sports -
- Swimming
- Diving
- Open Water Swimming
- Synchronized Swimming and
- Water Polo
They are run by FINA( International Swimming Federation
) and all Swimming events are contested in a long course (50-meter) pool
The venues that will host the events are -
Palau Sant Jordi ,an indoor sporting arena
and multi-purpose installation that is part of the Olympic Ring complex located in Barcelona,Catalonia, Spain (swimming, synchronized swimming)
Port Vell,a waterfront harbour in Barcelona,Catalonia,Spain and part of the Port of Barcelona (open water swimming, high diving)
Piscina Municipal de Montjuïc,a sports venue situated in the Olympic Ring complex located in Barcelona,Catalonia, Spain(diving)
Piscines Bernat Picornell, a swimming venue situated in the Olympic Ring in Montjuic,Barcelona,Spain which has three swimming pools: a 50m indoor pool, a 50m outdoor pool, and a pool for diving(water polo)
