São Paulo hosts world's largest gay parade

Around 3.5 million people attend a parade down São Paulo's main boulevard for the world's largest parade celebrating gay rights. Attendees wear colourful outfits and some wear fancy dress for the event, which supports gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. The 17th year of the parade comes in the wake of Brazil's legalisation of same-sex marriage
