CBSE Class X Results Declared -Thursday May 30,2013

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Thursday May 30,2013 declared the results for the Class 10 board examinations, with 98.76 % students qualifying the exam for admission to higher classes(in 2012 it was 98.19%)

The performance of girls is marginally better than boys -- a pass percentage of 98.94 percent for girls as compared to 98.64 % for boys.

This year in all 5,03,602 appeared for the board examination, of whom 4,98,735 (99.03 %) passed

According to a CBSE statement, the pass percentage in Chennai region at 99.80 %was the highest in the country
