Muzaffarpur-Yesvantpur Express derail near Arakkonam -Wednesday April 10,2013

Railway officials have confirmed one death in the derailment of the Muzaffarpur-Yeshvantpur Express (15228, via Chennai Central) at Sitheri near Arakkonam, about 40 km from here on Wednesday morning.
The identity of the victim has been established. The victim, who is believed to have been travelling alone, is identified as Soren Bode (50) from Malda Town in West Bengal, a Southern Railway official said. 

3 passengers are being brought to the General Hospital in Chennai while the rest are under treatment at the Government Hospital in Arakkonam.

  •  Train No.12695 Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram Express and
  •  Train No.12607 Chennai Central – Bangalore Lalbagh Express.
