Manchester United post their 27th win of the domestic season and win back the Premier League trophy from rivals Manchester City, whose loss to Tottenham Hotspur earlier on the weekend had allowed United to clinch the league this weekend at Old Trafford.

The win takes Manchester United even closer to breaking Chelsea's  record in 2005 and 2006 of 29 league wins in a single season, with the Manchester United currently on 27 wins. They also still have a chance to break the  Chelsea's  mark of 95 points in a single season.
