When R Aswin dismissed Nick Compton on Nov 16,2012 Friday, R. Ashwin became the
fastest Indian to take 50 Test wickets, in terms of matches played.
This was R Aswin's 9th Test and the previous record
holder was the legendary Anil Kumble, who had reached the milestone in
his 10th Test.
